ECKERSLEY'S ART MONTH SYDNEY WINDOW PROJECT
During Art Month Sydney the art won’t only be found in galleries… Thanks to the Art Month Sydney Window Project you can expect to find original artworks in the windows of some of Sydney’s leading retailers.
We are teaming up with Samual Topou of Michael Reid Gallery, one of Sydney’s leading galleries to create a dynamic window installation in our store at 88 Walker Street, North Sydney.
Born in New Zealand in 1976, Tupou is a rising star in the Sydney art world whose use of high-key colour and almost industrial materials - underlain with the patterns of traditional Tongan tapa designs- can be found in the collections of the National Gallery of Australia and Cairn’s Centre of Contemporary Art.
